The Camon 50 is defined by its “All-Weather Durability.” While previous Camons focused strictly on the lens, this model introduces IP69K rating, meaning it is protected against high-pressure and high-temperature water jets—a rarity in this price bracket. It is designed for users who need a professional-grade camera but work in demanding environments.
The photography system is centered around Sony’s LYTIA 700C sensor, which utilises Universal Tone technology—a system specifically tuned to accurately represent the diverse skin tones of African users. With the addition of a dedicated One-tap AI Key, users can instantly access “Ella” (Tecno’s AI assistant) or the AI Eraser tool to clean up background distractions in photos.
