Unveiled on July 9, 2025, and widely available from July 25, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 brings key refinements to Samsung’s flagship flip design. It sports a 6.9-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X main screen (1080×2520, 397 ppi, up to 2600 nits, 120 Hz) and a significantly larger 4.1-inch cover display (1048×948, 120 Hz, Gorilla Glass Victus 2) called the Flex Window, offering full interaction ability without unfolding the phone
Powered by the new Exynos 2500 chip (3 nm, Xclipse 950 GPU) paired with 12 GB RAM and UFS 4.0 storage (256 or 512 GB), the Flip 7 supports advanced Galaxy AI tools, including Gemini Live, Note Assist, and real-time language translation. It’s also the first Flip to support Samsung DeX, enabling a desktop-like interface on external displays
Camera hardware remains dual-lens with a 50 MP main sensor (OIS) and a 12 MP ultrawide, plus a 10 MP front camera, supporting 4K video. AI processing upgrades enhance night shots, sharpness, and low-light performance
The 4,300 mAh battery delivers improved endurance (up to ~31 hours video playback), with 25 W wired, 15 W wireless, and reverse wireless charging supported.
At just 188 g and 13.7 mm folded (6.5 mm unfolded), the handset is Samsung’s lightest Flip yet, with Armor FlexHinge, Armor Aluminum frame, Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and an IP48 water resistance rating for solid durability
It runs Android 16 with One UI 8, and includes Samsung’s commitment to 7 years of OS and security updates
